- Yes, though (as you suspected) it takes changing some things. The problem
- is usually with the DiskChange/Ready signals, which appear to now be
- combined in most drive mechanisms. You'll have to map out where the
- DiskChange signal needs to go in the 1581 and where it is on the mech,
- then mod your 1581 accordingly. Other than that, I believe you need to
- pull the Ready line low inside the 1581.

- Yes, I've got one here. The bad news is that you aren't likely to get the
- face-plate to match up anymore, so you'll have to run without it.
