  23. Yes, though (as you suspected) it takes changing some things. The problem
  24. is usually with the DiskChange/Ready signals, which appear to now be
  25. combined in most drive mechanisms. You'll have to map out where the
  26. DiskChange signal needs to go in the 1581 and where it is on the mech,
  27. then mod your 1581 accordingly. Other than that, I believe you need to
  28. pull the Ready line low inside the 1581.

  32. Yes, I've got one here. The bad news is that you aren't likely to get the
  33. face-plate to match up anymore, so you'll have to run without it.
